- Volunteers will be sent to YMCA or Penn Del training clinics. YMCA covers certification fee
- Available to work meets in capacity of Starter, Turn Judge, Stroke Judge, and Place Judge at the request of the team coordinator
- Organizes team officials for meets
- Ensures enough volunteer parents are certified to meet needs
- Recruits new officials and assists with training information
- Ensures all clinics are scheduled, posted and publicized

- Recruits volunteers for office
- Organizes nominations and nomination process for general election
Records and Registration

- Maintains team records and current individual time book
- Oversees database management - entering times into computer and completes invitational entries
- Gets team/individual event times to Publicity Coordinator
- Works with team coordinators to update team records

Promotes swimmer achievements and activities
- Ensures that each team has a publicity rep that submits meet result articles to local newspapers or other publications involved with YMCA or swimming
- Sends articles to the Daily Local
- Works with Secretary to keep bulletin board updated and get info to parents
- Posts meet results after each competition on bulletin board
- Develops and maintains official BCY website
- Manages website content (text and photos)
Concessions and Hospitality
Committee Chair: Kristin Boldaz
Directs home meet concessions
- Organizes hospitality area and refreshments for visiting team (winter only)
- Provides for set-up and clean-up staff and donated items
Fundraising
Committee Chair: Available
Coordinates various fundraising activities other than meet snack bars
- Research and report fundraising opportunities
- Report opportunities to executive board for vote
- Informs website manager of planned fundraising activities
- Any fundraising opportunities that require contract signatures will be given to the Aquatic Director
Social/Spirit
Committee Chair: Brenda Sears
- Plans family and team social activities
- Recognizes District and National qualifiers
- Informs website manager of planned social activities
- Responsible for organizing the team "end of season" banquet and gifts (includes coordination of site selection, menu, caterer, ticket sales and program)
Apparel
Committee Chair: Caroline Duncan
- Maintains team apparel within contract specs
- Coordinates apparel designs and orders for district qualifiers and team spirit wear
- Coordinates with Aquatic Director, Coaches and PAC on logo and design initiatives
Awards

- Recommends awards criteria
- Secures information for and orders season awards and heat ribbons
Equipment Coordinator

- Makes sure computer is charged
- Makes sure start is plugged in and charged prior to meets
- Touchpads are lime-awayed pre-season
- Label and organize shelves
National Team
Committee Chair: Available
- Communicates with all National swim parents and swimmers on upcoming deadlines and meets
- Communicates with website manager on deadlines
- Gives publicity chair any necessary swimmer achievements
- Coordinates various fundraising activities
- Organizes special snack bar opportunities
- Works with Sr. Program Director for individual swimmer accounts
- Performs additional duties as indicated by coach specific to the national team
Invitational Swimming

- Communicates with all USA swim parents and swimmers on upcoming deadlines and meets
- Communicates with website manager on deadlines
- Assists registration chair in ensuring complete registrations
